Those who can, do –
because a teacher showed them how.

Balletworks specialises in teaching ballet to children aged three and over. We are primarily concerned with the enjoyment of ballet through well-taught, structured classes that are both injected with fun and enthusiasm, but also the discipline associated with this art form.
As such, we aim to make ballet work for your child. With an overall goal of building our pupils’ confidence, our approach to teaching ballet focuses on the following key aspects of your child’s development:
- Physical health and fitness – development of coordination, control, strength, stamina and flexibility
- Interpersonal and social skills – experience of working with other people as a member of a team
- Artistic and aesthetic understanding – access to a core performing art that revolves around translating ideas, expressing meaning and communicating with others
- Learning skills – development of problem-solving skills and enhancement of memory through physical patterning and repetition
We do this in a relaxed environment where each class is kept to a maximum of 12 pupils so as to ensure that everybody receives the individual attention that is required to learn ballet properly.
To book your child’s place on our courses starting in January 2009, please submit your details on the Registration page of our website or call us on 0753 8039833.
